For his ninth birthday party on Dec. 23, Caden Bargas of Plainfield asked his friends to bring gifts for The BoneYard Animal Rescue in Joliet, where the Bargas family adopted their dog Buckner. Caden’s friends from St. Mary Immaculate Parish school in Plainfield and Olympiacos Chicago Soccer Club brought collars, leashes, harnesses, treats, toys and gift cards.
