Tom Bassias is a Chicago-based entrepreneur, business leader, and longtime youth soccer advocate who serves as our Director of Business Operations for Olympiacos Chicago. In this role, he helps guide the club’s strategic vision, operational development, and long-term growth as it builds a competitive pathway for young athletes in the Midwest.
A lifelong student of the game, Tom grew up playing competitive soccer in the Chicago area, where his teams captured championship trophies at every level of youth and adult competition. He attended Notre Dame College Prep, where he established himself as one of the program’s most accomplished goal scorers, setting multiple scoring records and earning individual honors at the conference, regional, area, and state levels.
Tom went on to study Finance at University of Illinois Chicago before earning his marketing MBA from DePaul University, combining his academic background in business with a passion for building organizations and developing strong operational systems.
Beyond Olympiacos Chicago, Tom has spent more than a decade contributing to youth soccer development in the region. During his ten-year tenure with Oak Brook Soccer Club, he served as both a coach and board member, helping guide the club’s growth while mentoring young players and supporting program development.
In addition to his leadership in youth sports, Tom is an accomplished entrepreneur. He is the founder and operator of Alpha PCB, a company specializing in global printed circuit board design, sourcing, and manufacturing solutions. He is also a co-founder of City Werks Motorsports, an emerging automotive brand focused on vehicles sales, service, motorsports culture, and enthusiast-driven innovation.
Tom and his wife, Sophie, live in Downers Grove, where they are raising their two children, Dean and Angelina.
