John Kosmas works closely with the entire Olympiacos Soccer Club Chicago (OSCC) board of directors & staff, helping direct, oversee, and manage the daily soccer business operations for OSCC. John Kosmas was born in Athens, Greece but moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1981 at the age of fourteen. He attended Amundsen High School where he played soccer for four years and was named captain of the team in his senior year. John helped his varsity team win a city championship in 1985. After that he continued to play in local soccer clubs such as Kefaliniakos, Hellas Soccer Club, and Hellenic United (co-founded in 2008). He coached several adult teams throughout his years and led them to several championships and honors in Chicago’s National Soccer League. John received a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Northeastern Illinois University. He and his wife Angela, have two sons, Panagiotis and Christos, and reside in Niles, Illinois.
