Olympiacos Chicago are proud to announce the hiring of Mario Dukovac (Director of College Recruiting), Bert Badertscher (Director of Goalkeeping) and Shannon Baker-Javaras (Strength & Conditioning Trainer).

“To get these coaches/trainer to be part of our club is unbelievable for us, and I think it speaks volumes for where our [already solid] player development program is headed,” said Yiannis Kosmas Director of Operations. “The word on the street is that Olympiacos Chicago is the place to be if you are looking to develop soccer skills.”

“Having these individuals who have been in the business and very successful at it, that allowed us to go get what we felt was the best fit for our organization,” Kosmas added.

Shannon Baker-Javaras – Strength & Conditioning Trainer

Shannon forged her way into the health and fitness arena as a 30-year old wife and mother seeking a healthier lifestyle for her and her daughter. Through that experience she found running, which changed her life in countless ways and led to a contagious passion for fitness, performance, and nutrition. The past seven years have been devoted to gaining knowledge and experience about optimizing training for peak performance while not losing the passion and fun of the sport. Her personal successes in running, along with her communication skills and passion, have opened up doors to work with youth soccer and cross-country teams where she has had the opportunity to motivate and inspire youth to live healthy lifestyles.
